Operationally, Loyak and Talang Gula block located on West Operation Area of PT. Pertamina DOH SBS (Asset 2) with main operation office in Pendopo, South Sumatera. Structure developed in Loyak and Talang Gula Block are Loyak, Candi, Manis and Talang Gula Structure. Main reservoir target is Sandstone from Talang Akar Formation (TAF) at South Sumatera.

Loyak Talang Gula was awarded a contract by PT Pertamina EP in the form of a Joint Operation (KSO) to manage the Loyak – Candi – Manis and Talang Gula fields.

The field is located in PALI (Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir) district, South Sumatra. To reach this field, you can use land transportation which is approximately 171 kilometers from the city of Palembang, South Sumatra.

 

In the KSO PEP-QEI Loyak Talang Gula field, there are seven (7) wells that have been proven to produce hydrocarbon oil and gas. The wells are Loyak-1, Candi-1, Candi-2, Candi-3, Talang Gula-1, Manis-1 and Manis-3. Of the seven wells, 4 of them can be directly produced, namely the Loyak-1, Candi-1, Candi-2 and Candi-3 wells.
Oil production from the Loyak-1 well is carried out using trucks (trucking) to the Gathering Station (SP) located in Raja Village, Tanah Abang District, South Sumatra. Gas production, which generally comes from wells in the Candi field, is transported through a 6-inch trunckline pipe from the Candi field to the Gas Gathering Station owned by PT Pertamina EP located in Raja Village with a total length of approximately 13.6 km.
